MissionThe Gulf States Regional Center for Public Safety Innovations (GSRCPI) is dedicated to delivering training and resources for Public Safety, their families and communities they serve. GSRCPI believes in building partnerships between law enforcement agencies, government, and community organizations to enhance community safety to provide a higher quality of life. Our goal is to enhance public safety through the following methods: Training GSRCPI Sponsored GSRCPI has sought and secured funding from COPS, BJA, DHS, state contracts, individual agencies and public safety associations to develop and deliver the highest quality training. The majority of the GSRCPI training is offered in AL, LA and MS; however, cooperative agreements are in place for nationwide delivery as well. At Cost
When funding does not provide for free delivery of classes the same high quality curriculum and instruction is offered to any qualifying agency through our "at-cost" partnership program.
Partnering with Public Safety Entities By-Weekly E-Bulletin and Logistic Support GSRCPI partners with state and federal entities to coordinate training in the LA, MS, AL region. GSRCPI features all low and no cost federal, state and local agency level training (not for profit) such as HIDTA, LECC, FLETC, etc., in the GSRCPI By-Weekly Training eBulletin which is delivered by email every two weeks. We assist these agencies with advertising and logistic support demonstrating the philosophy that through partnering more can be accomplished and provided to a greater number of participants. Conferences GSRCPI presents and co-sponsors conferences on a variety of topics to raise the level of awareness and provide the highest quality education regarding public safety issues, information sharing, community support, building partnerships, and create forums for sharing best practices.
