Identifying and Managing Stress The disastrous oil spill occurring in the Gulf of Mexico is beginning to take a mental toll on our colleagues and communities. The In Harm’s Way Law Enforcement Suicide Prevention website is now available. This website is part of the national law enforcement suicide prevention training and awareness project funded by BJA. Center for Domestic Preparedness - Training During times of tight budgets and manpower issues, training is on the first areas that may be looked at to trim back on. Training is vital to ensure effective response effort. The Center for Domestic Preparedness has numerous training programs that are completely funded. If you are a state or local emergency responder, this training is completely funded byu DHS at no cost to your jurisdiction. We fly you into Atlanta airport, pick you up, transport you to the CDP and provide meals and lodging. There is no cost for the course or materials. For more information, click on the links below:
