The Office for Community Oriented Policing Services is the “parent” organization which created GSRCPI. Providing us with funding for training for 9 years we were able to diversify, become institutionalized and self-supportive in our region and the country. COPS continues to provide valuable publications, technology funding and grants such as CHRPs hiring grants to Departments nation-wide. Visit the website below for more information.

The Department of Homeland Security Training Operations National Preparedness Directorate / National Integration Center Training and Exercise Integration under FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) provides GSRCPI with funding for the CEEP ( Critical Employee Emergency Planning) Training, delivered Nationwide.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance has provided GSRCPI with funding directly and indirectly, for projects such as: Human Trafficking Training, Franklyn Covey Leadership. GSRCPI currently has 2 grants submitted for the I-10 Project and WEB 2.o Technologies for Law Enforcement.

GSRCPI is honored to facilitate operations of the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police - AACOP. Our role organizing communication and information allows us to aid in the continued professionalization of this esteemed group of Law Enforcement executives.
